You can request permanent deletion of your ChalcedonX account and the data associated with it at any time. The fastest and most secure way is from inside the game.
Overview
At ChalcedonX, you are in control of your account and your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the data we hold about you, what is deleted, what we may retain for legal reasons, and how long the process takes.
ChalcedonX is a primarily child-directed application designed for children ages 7–10. Parents and legal guardians may request deletion of their child's account and data on behalf of the child using the same process described below. 1. From inside the game (recommended)
The fastest and most secure way to delete your account is from inside the game. Because you are signed in to your account on the device, we can verify your identity automatically — no further verification is needed.
- Open ChalcedonX on your device.
- Go to Settings → Support.
- Send a deletion request through the in-app form.
You will see a confirmation message once your request has been sent successfully. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email if you have provided one.
2. By email (if you no longer have access to the game)
If you have uninstalled the game, lost access to your device, or otherwise cannot complete the in-app steps, you can request deletion by email.
Send an email to info@chalcedonx.com with the following:
- Subject line — start with
[ installation_id ] [ player_id ]followed by “Account Deletion Request” (replace the placeholders with your actual IDs if you have them). - In the email body, include:
- Your
installation_idandplayer_id(clearly labelled), if available - The email address you would like us to use to confirm your request
- Any in-game player name you used (optional but helpful)
- A Google Play order ID from a past in-app purchase, if you have one (helps us verify ownership when IDs are unavailable)
- Your
You can find both IDs inside the app under Settings → Support. If you no longer have them, send what you can — see Section 3 below for what we can and cannot do in that case.
3. How we identify you in our records
ChalcedonX is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or other directly identifying information. The only way we can locate the data we hold about you is through your Installation ID and Player ID.
- If you provide your IDs, we can locate your records and complete your deletion request within 30 days.
- If you no longer have your IDs, we may be unable to identify your records. Under Article 11 of the GDPR, where a controller processes data that does not require identification of the data subject, the controller is not obliged to acquire or maintain additional information solely to identify users. In such cases we may be unable to fulfil your request — not because we are unwilling, but because we cannot link any record we hold to you. We will make reasonable efforts to help you locate your IDs (for example, by checking Google Play purchase records or screenshots you can provide) and will tell you clearly if we cannot.
Tip: Inside the app, on the Settings → Support screen, your IDs can be tapped to copy. We recommend keeping a copy in case you ever need to contact us after uninstalling the game.
4. What will be deleted
When you submit a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your in-game profile, including progress, achievements, inventory and statistics
- Your Player ID and account identifiers
- Installation and device identifiers associated with your account
- User-generated content tied to your account (player name, custom content, support messages)
- Analytics and event data linked to your account or device identifiers
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Any unused in-game currency, items or active subscriptions tied to this account will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
5. What we may retain, and why
Some information may be kept for a limited period after deletion where we are legally required to retain it or where it is necessary to protect our service:
- Purchase and transaction records — retained as required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection law (typically up to 10 years, depending on jurisdiction).
- Fraud and abuse records — retained where necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Aggregated or anonymized data — data that has been fully anonymized and can no longer be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
- Legal hold — information subject to an active legal claim, dispute or regulatory investigation will be retained until that matter is resolved.
6. Timeline
We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days of receipt, in line with applicable privacy laws. If we have an email address for you, you will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete. If we cannot verify your identity from the information provided, we will contact you to request additional details, and the 30-day period will run from the date we receive that information.
